I'm baaaack

So, I forgot how fun blogging can be! I read Julie's yesterday, and got carried away and started reading other random people's blogs and spent an entire afternoon at work reading (so slow today!) Before I created my own today, I decided to login to my my old livejournal account and read about what I used to write. Pretty crazy, because the last time I wrote was when I met Eric, Taryn's dad. It was definitely a fateful meeting.



I had a long conversation with Julie last night, and it was certainly a boost to the self esteem! She is such a good friend. I really hate that she is away in Beaumont, but we talked about Taryn and I going out there for a weekend sometime soon.



My dating life has been insane lately. Since black is the new blond, I have been asked out more than I did when I dated like crazy in my early 20's! Maybe it just feels that way since I am finally putting myself out there again. I really like Justin (the cop).
He is a great guy, and I think we are really compatible, but he is younger than me. That is not a big deal, but he only makes an effort when he wants to. I keep allowing myself to go on dates with people who I know aren't going to be a good match. I know there are certain qualities I won't like, but still decide to spend time with them. I need to put my focus elsewhere. God, Taryn, and preparing for my move that is less than 2 weeks away!
